The Invictus cue with Pear wood shaft, hand spliced with AAA-grade Gabon Ebony upper and lower splices with a contrasting middle layer of splices.
The cue shaft is made with select seasoned Pear wood (pyrus communis); only kiln dried pear timber is used which is then further seasoned for a minimum of 12 months before work starts on the custom cue shaft. Each Pear shaft is taken down slowly by hand over a 12-18 month period to ensure that no movement in the shaft occurs during service therefore please allow 24 months for delivery.
The David Bowen Invictus Cue is hand made with the highest grade Gabon ebony (African Ebony) available and only the best grade seasoned hardwoods. The cue design is 3 levels of splicing with no veneers, the higher and lower splices are jet black Gabon ebony (Diospyros Crassiflora), with the middle splices being in your choice of contrasting exotic hardwood.
