I create custom designed snooker cue cases from only the highest quality leather hides and high quality suede interiors to create truly beautiful cases. Aniline Leather
A high quality aniline leather is leather in its raw state from the tannery which has been dyes to give it colour, this is the highest quality leather available which is why this is the only kind of leather I use on my hand made snooker cue cases. Lower grades of leather such as pigmented leather and even fake leather such as laminates are much less hard wearing and will damage easily. High grades of leather such as full aniline and waxy pull-up leathers will scuff and mark with contact, they are designed to do so but this does not damage them, they simply gain character.
Nubuck Suede Interior Lining
The exterior leather of a snooker cue case adds character to a case, as does the interior of a custom made cue case. The interior lining of the David Bowen cue cases are not only padded with memory foam and impact resistant foam but also with top grade Nubuck suede. This luxurious material is usually only used on the highest quality furniture and clothing items, it is effectively a shaved aniline leather with a very close grain to give it an extra luxurious feel.
